High ceiling can be overwhelming, but modest ceiling design and clay jar display will moderate the look. Ceiling design is a continuation of the ceiling design at the bar. The center columns have niches facing inward to have nice little displays inside. Again, all columns will have smoothed edges (rounded) and special paint (stucco) will soften the look.

ROOM

PDRs have slant ceilings which are the highlight of the room. We would like to emphasize the ceiling shape so that it looks architectural and unique. On the other hand, veneer wall cladding and wall bracket lights give a subtle and elegant look. Service stations are the combination of modern and traditional elements. The shape of the furniture is rather modernized Korean, but the clay jar is traditional.

BAR

The bar is similar to a Korean traditional kitchen called “Buttu mag”. Timber used in the bar ceiling, shelves, and even the bar table in front are antique and aged timber, which are complemented by special paint (stucco paint) around. The space composed a earthy and handmade appearance.
